Hello everyone,
today I will share with you the lovely experience I had with the Miss Earth Slovenia team. This was our second challenge – The talk show.

In the morning we had breakfast and then we met the founders of Treecelet. They presented their idea and company, after that a conversation followed where we were allowed to ask some questions. If you haven’t came across Treecelet, I will tell you something more about it. By purchasing a Treecelet (bracelet) you plant up to 5 trees! This bracelet serves as a proof of your commitment to make the world green again. They donate the money to Eden Reforestation Projects, which arranges a team of local workers to plant trees in areas that are affected the most by deforestation. At the moment, they plant in Madagascar and Indonesia. They also plant only trees that are native to the environment. After, we had a photoshoot with our new shirts and Treecelet bracelets.

Later we were learning the “pageant walk” under the supervision of Miss Earth Slovenia 2018 – Danijela Burjan. Danijela took her time with each contestant, she gave tips and helped everyone where it was needed. I am very grateful for all of the tips, and I can say that all of us will master the walk to the finals.

Finally, after lunch we had the talk show. There were 3 topics: an eco-topic, social media topic and a topic about equality between men and women. The only thing we knew was that we will have an eco-topic, but the other two were unknown. Each finalist had a minute to give her opinion and at the end we all talked about the topic in general. It was so interesting and refreshing to hear all of the opinions – and I think that as a team we done a good job.

I must say that we all had a beautiful day together, we got to know each other a bit more and we had a good unforgettable experience.
